Aaron Kirk Aaron Kirk

Additional questions are open-ended prompts that apply to the entire dataset, functioning like chat prompts at scale. Follow standard prompt engineering best practices when creating these questions.

  1. Identify Your Goal: Know what you want to achieve. Be specific.
  2. Keep It Clear: Use simple, precise language to avoid confusion.
  3. Provide Context: Include any necessary background information.
  4. Use Examples: Demonstrate the expected response and format, using markdown symbols.

  5. Test and Tweak: Adjust your prompt based on the AI’s response for better results.

Example Additional question:

Is the jurisdiction of this Non-Disclosure Agreement that of English, US State, Australian State or EU country law?

If the jurisdiction of this Non-Disclosure Agreement is English, US State, Australian State or EU country law, answer with "[country name and jurisdiction] (acceptable) - no amendments needed" only and do not suggest any amendments.

If the jurisdiction of this Non-Disclosure Agreement is any other jurisdiction than English, US State, Australian State or EU country law, write the following clause, replacing text held within square brackets with the definitions as they appear in the contract.

Answer in a paragraph titled "### Jurisdiction - Current ###" and then write a paragraph titled with the jurisdiction including the clause name and number in bold. On a new line write the existing clause. Begin a new section titled ### ### Jurisdiction - Updated ### and rewrite the below clause, replacing text held in square brackets with the relevant definitions.

"This [Agreement] and all matters arising from or in connection with it are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with English law. The courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear and decide any suit, action or proceedings, and to settle any disputes, which may arise out of or in connection with this [Agreement] and, for these purposes, each party irrevocably submits to the jurisdiction of the courts of England."

Example answer:

"### Jurisdiction - Current###

*Clause 1.2 Brazil*

              - Current: [text]

              - Amended: [text]

### Jurisdiction - Updated ###

This letter and all matters arising from or in connection with it are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with English law. The courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear and decide any suit, action or proceedings, and to settle any disputes, which may arise out of or in connection with this letter and, for these purposes, each party irrevocably submits to the jurisdiction of the courts of England."
